So basically, we should be glad that we don't live in the worlds of our favorite tokusatsu shows.
Precisely.
It'd be cool to see it , but with all the collateral damage caused by the kaijin, giant monsters/robots that happens in these worlds it begs to ask why aren't there people fed up with their city being demolished every week. Even if it was by a few weeks, having a monster each time wreaking havoc would be unsettling if not the displacement and mass loss of life.
If they were real, I'd not want to take a single step outdoors out of the anarchy of a war being waged by my doorstep unless I had my own Rider system , had one of those Star Trek phasers to eradicate them or both. As the news would not be clear on it unless it was like Kuuga, I'm sure there would be a huge impetus to staying indoors if not regulations to go to shelters if those occur. Closest thing is like in Dekaranger or in Evangelion where Tokyo-3 goes underground.
Although the world we live in kinda sucks, at least we aren't in the threat of things in those shows or that our world has none of the tech of it yet. Humanity's too immature as it is.
