Ultraman Saga wants you
Overview
1000 years ago, Gaia the Goddess of the Earth laid down her essence to the human race. With these powers that have been passed down to many generations, they serve Gaia and protect humanity, each of them transforming into Earth’s guardians, the Kamen Riders.
In Gaia’s name, they come to be known as Kamen Rider Caster (仮面ライダー伽栖汰亜/Kamen Raidā Kyasutah).
Present day, Aether the God of the Elements, seeks to overthrow Gaia by killing her Casters, thus leaving her powerless. Under his bidding to do so are a group of powerful Kamen Riders known as Mancers, each who control a specific element which Aether grants upon them.
His heretical desire has even led him to disrupting the balance of the barriers between our world and other dimensions, causing the outbreak of the Dreads, sadistic monsters that spawn on our grounds to wreck havoc and take lives to fulfil their thirst for blood.
The Kamen Riders have to now face this new breed of enemies who would kill them, Casters and Mancers alike, to protect humanity and to answer to their God.
But is this just a war between the Gods, or is there more than meets the eye in the face of this mindless hatred and bloodshed?
Kamen Riders
NOTE:
The Kamen Riders in this series are "factional" by name and distinguished individually by their forms. (i.e. Kamen Rider Caster Behemoth is really just Kamen Rider Caster, Behemoth form)
The finishing moves of all Riders are known as "Burst" moves
##Contains spoilers for first-time readers##
[HIDE]Casters
Casters are Gaia’s own set of Kamen Riders who have served her for 1000 years. Their powers are manifested into golden orbs known as Souls and are based on the planes of the Earth, being land, sea and sky. Their human counterparts access their powers through a device known as the Caster Buckle which the summon at the call of “Casterâ€. They can transform into Kamen Rider Caster with they call out “Henshinâ€.
Inserting their Souls into their Caster Buckle and spinning them would summon their respective Soul Beasts to aid them in combat. Transforming with a Soul Beast summoned would cause it to merge with the Caster's body, providing a much more powerful and unique form.
While each Caster has a Soul bounded to them, they are said to be interchangeable between one another.
Caster
[HIDE]
First appearance: Episode 1
The form which a Caster would take by transforming using the Caster Buckle without the powers of a Soul. Despite the lacking, it greatly enhances its user’s attributes beyond that of a normal person as well as provides a very strong full bodied armor. [/HIDE]
Caster Behemoth
[HIDE]
"By the grace of Gaia;
I am the Caster who controls the plane of land and earth;
Kamen Rider Caster.. Behemoth"
First appearance: Episode 2
The form which a Caster would take with the Behemoth Soul in the Caster Buckle. It empowers the user with the power of the black stallion Behemoth, the Soul Beast of Land. Much stronger than the default Caster form and possesses the greatest speed amongst all other Caster forms.
Currently used by Clage after he succeeded the Caster powers of the previous Caster Behemoth, Kallas, at his dying moments. At first, he did not know what it means to be a Kamen Rider but slowly grows to accept his responsibilities. He still holds himself responsible for Kallas' death and continually fights the Mancers and Dreads in his honour.
Although being told of Aether's scheme, Clage believes that the Mancers were misguided into helping him and therefore resolves to avoiding conflict with them in efforts to convince them otherwise.
Skills/Spells:-
Shards – creates earth shards that spike out from the ground below the enemy.
Barrage – hurls rocks and broken pieces of the earth straight to an enemy.
Celeritas – a spell which greatly boosts the speed of the Caster. Downside of this is that it consumes much of the energy needed to move after.
Rider – by touching the Behemoth Soul and saying "Rider", the Caster summons the Landstrider. It takes the form of a dark motorcycle of bones which becomes the Kamen Rider's most useful mode of transport. In reality, the spell is actually the Behemoth Soul Beast embodying the form of a mode of transportation based on the era it is used on.
Behemoth Landslide (BURST) – by fully charging the Behemoth Soul, the Caster concentrates all of Behemoth’s energy to their leg and launches themself at the enemy with a devastating kick. A blurry image of Behemoth follows the Caster’s leg.
Behemoth Soulburst (BURST) – by fully charging the Behemoth Soul, the Caster concentrates all of Behemoth’s energy over the chest. It unleashes the raw form of Behemoth in a rampaging blast towards the enemy at the expense of the Behemoth armor.
Behemoth Siesm (BURST) - by fully charging the Behemoth Soul, the Caster concentrates all of Behemoth's energy over their fists. They would then launch themselves to the enemy and deliver a powerful crossed double punch with Behemoth's image following their movements. This was used by Elyz when she took Behemoth's form.[/HIDE]
Caster Leviathan
[HIDE]
"By the grace of Gaia;
I am the Caster who controls the plane of sea and water;
Kamen Rider Caster.. Leviathan"
First appearance: Episode 9
The form which a Caster would take with the Leviathan Soul in the Caster Buckle. It empowers the user with the power of the black sea serpent Leviathan, the Soul beast of Sea. While slightly slower than the other Caster forms, Leviathan possesses the greatest strength especially in the arms.
Currently used by Elyz, who also happens to be the sister of the previous Caster Behemoth, Kallas, causing her much resent towards Clage. Realising the nature of his character, she comes to accept him as her brother's replacement and fights side-by-side with him. She also acts as a coach to him as she has far more experience than him.
Skills/Spells:-
Gush – creates a forceful stream of water out of the Caster’s hand towards the enemy.
Torrent - creates a gigantic slow-moving wave which acts as a defensive barrier against any incoming attacks. Enemies or objects caught in the wave would be pulled in by its immense current.
Potestas – a spell which multiplies the Caster’s strength, powerful enough to launch an enemy to the air.
Rider – similar to the Landstrider which is summoned by the Behemoth Soul, the Caster who uses this spell with the Leviathan Soul would summon the Seastrider which the Leviathan Soul Beast would produce.
Leviathan Tidalwave (BURST) – by fully charging the Leviathan Soul, the Caster creates a sea of water on the area surrounding the battlefield. Concentrating all of Leviathan’s energy to their arm, the Caster would surf through the surface and obliterate the enemy with a deadly punch. A blurry image of Leviathan follows the Caster’s arm.
Leviathan Typhoon (BURST) - by fully charging the Leviathan Soul, the Caster creates a sea of water on the area surrounding the battlefield. Concentrating all of Leviathan's energy to their leg, the Caster would surf through the surface and perform a jumping roundhouse kick. Leviathan's image would follow the traces of the Caster's foot. This was used by Clage when he took Leviathan's form.[/HIDE]
Caster Ziz
[HIDE]The form which a Caster would take with the Ziz Soul in the Caster Buckle. It empowers the user with the power of the Soul Beast of Sky, Ziz. Not much is known about this form as the Caster who wielded the Ziz Soul has not been seen and is speculated to be dead.[/HIDE]
Mancers
Mancer’s are Kamen Riders who serve directly under Aether, the God of the Elements. Their powers are manifested into large ancient coins known as Mancer Coins with the motive of the elements of the earth. When they call out “Mancerâ€, they summon a gauntlet-like device called the Mancer Guard, over their left or right hand which they would place their Coins into. By spinning the coins and saying “Henshinâ€, they would transform into the Kamen Rider Mancer of their element.
As explained through out the series, each Mancer requires a unique physiology in order to use a certain Mancer Coin, making them not interchangeable between each other. It is also because of this attribute that Mancers lack a "default" Mancer Form like the Casters.
There are six Mancers in total. They act under a military initiative which Aether has formed known as Prism. The current Mancers and their elements are:
Strand (Leader, N/A)
Aderil (N/A)
Lucas (metal)
Dacia (water)
Barett (earth)
N/A (N/A)
(in order of appearance)
Mancer Neos
[HIDE]
“I am the Mancer that manipulates the very form of metal;
Kamen Rider Mancer.. Neosâ€
First appearance: Episode 4
The Mancer of metal (a.k.a. Neomancer). It is assumed by Lucas and is the first Mancer to appear in the series.
A cheerful man who has never taken things seriously, he blatantly admits that his entire reason of becoming a Mancer is the excitement of holding powers that no other man could. Although there are times when he could become very serious on certain situations. He is seen to be relatively close to Barett, another Mancer.
Skills/Spell:-
Manipulating the shape of metal into any desired form, particularly using iron staff which he carries with him. Forms that have been seen so far are a giant shield and a deadly iron whip.
Neos Metalquashing (BURST) – consists of liquidating close by metal objects to form a giant metallic spiral around his iron staff. It then spins into an enormous drill which is used to obliterate the enemy beneath without leaving any traces.[/HIDE]
Mancer Aquas
[HIDE]
First appearance: Episode 7
“I am the Mancer that manipulates the very flow of water;
Kamen Rider Mancer.. Aquasâ€
The Mancer of water (a.k.a. Aquamancer). The second Mancer to fully appear and is taken by Dacia.
She is convinced that the Casters would somehow cause the destruction of the Earth, thus driving her to eliminate them as a Mancer, although she is shown to have an apparent fear for Aether and what he is capable of. She is also thought to harbour some feelings for Clage after he saved her from a Dread ambush.
Skills/Spell:-
Creating and shooting jets of water from her hands. Contact with these leave a very powerful impact.
Aquas Watercannon (BURST) – summons and accumulates most of the surrounding water of any form into a giant sphere and launches itself at the enemy.[/HIDE]
Mancer Geos
[HIDE]
“I am the Mancer who manipulates the very soils of earth;
Kamen Rider Mancer.. Geosâ€
First appearance: Episode 13
The Mancer of earth (a.k.a. Geomancer). Taken by Barett.
He claims that his purpose of being a Mancer is to be the most powerful Kamen Rider of all. Due to their similarities in power types, Barett holds a certain rivalry towards Clage to prove himself. Although he is downright disrespectful to Strand's authority, he holds a certain respect for Aderil.
Skills/Spell:-
Mancer Geos has a greater control over the element of earth than Caster Behemoth. Besides sharing the same abilities, he could break earth and rock pieces freely and send destructive energies through the ground
Geos Earthbreaker(BURST) – sends multiple bolts of energy through the ground that seeks any targeted enemies like underground missiles. Upon range, it will explode beneath them with an implosion sizable to tens of landmines [/hide]
