Just ignore him. If you even decide to reply, that shows you were provoked by the words of an amoeba. A fully evolved human bothering about a lowlife amoeba? If you reply defending yourself or attacking him, then that amoeba will have new material to attack you. Just post your opinions, let other sensible people read them and let the amoeba use cell division/genetic splicing/binarry fission/whatever on your posts and keep replying aimlessly to them, without so much as a reply from you. Then he'll really look like a fool.

This is totally unrelated, but the reason why I love HJU is because it's almost flame-free. The firemen here do a good job, like J-Caizer, etc. This was the first board I joined because the ambience here was very nice. Logical people could get together and talk as civilised human beings. Rangerboard, TV-Nihon and many other forums have too many people joining just to put others down. That's why I love HJU and hope for it to stay this way. :thumbs:

After my current reply to him in which I replied in a reasonable manner [This place is much better for ranting and raving], I won't be replying to his inane posts anymore and besides, he just keeps making himself look foolish in any case with his poor grammar and spelling amongst other things...

BTW, that's why I love this board over RB and TV-N as this place is practically flame-free [in any case, I PMed J-C about my flame concerning KR in advance as I respect him and I wanted to let him know my concerns in case I got in trouble for my views concerning KR] and I rarely do any flaming online but in this case I guess I felt KR deserved it on here because of his arrogant attitude and at the end of the day, he knows I'm right in what I said but he can't bring himself to admit it...

On another note, you should join the board that I run in my sigfile... We don't have much in the way of members but we're a friendly place and like HJU, the members are there to have a good time and if anyone breaks the rules then they'd be punished [which actually hasn't happened yet in any case...]

Steve does some amazing stuff when he cuts loose. That Power Ranger episode that he did that was all original footage and was without ANY Power Ranger stuff save for about 3 seconds was one of the best episodes of any action show I've seen on television.

I agree. During Lost Galaxy I wasnt watching Power Rangers. However I happened to catch that episode on one of the mornings. I had no idea what it was. I thought they made a starship troopers TV show and was like "holy crap this is kewl" then I saw a power ranger come on screen then I was like "this is power rangers?! Holy ****!"

And yeah, Borgman, just ignore him. Though even I started to take offense to KR's comments. Im a PR fans and I enjoy Sentai. I can like both. I dont need to conform to his laws of what a "fan" is.

No it is not just as popular. It was dubbed as a parody in japan nothing more. The fact that they do not show it in japan any longer is proof that it is not popular. The only thing that sells in japan of PR any longer are some of the US based toys.

Knowing KR, he's probably lying when he says that Power Rangers was dubbed in a parody way in Japan and in any case, if Power Rangers is supposedly unpopular in Japan, why did Toei decide to use the SPD Battlizer in the MagiRanger vs DekaRanger movie? I guess it's because a lot of Sentai fans seem to like the fact that Power Rangers takes the best bits from their own series and adapt them for the most part into various good series [Turbo being a hit-and-miss affair]...

It's just sad that he has such a blinkered attitude towards people like us who can like both Power Rangers and Sentai and feels that he has to put us down...

It's been said that the Japanese fans like battlizers in general and, with it being based on Murphy, it could easily be worked into the Deka universe.

And I can accept that PR does have fans in Japan but I think it's ridiculous to claim (without providing some kind of proof) that PR is just as popular there as Sentai. I've seen/heard absolutely nothing to suggest that at all.
