So I just saw Project G4 last night after spending a LONG time trying to find it. I think this is officially my favorite Rider movie. As someone who thought Agito was very good, but not fantastic, this movie basically encapsulated everything I liked about Agito, and actually managed to legitimize some parts of the series I thought were weaker. The pacing of the film is great in that it has plenty of room to breathe. We don't need something bombastic happening on screen at all times, and the quiet moments of the film (specifically, the scene of the little boy trying to sell back massages) are fantastic. And when we get action, JESUS do we get action. The fight scenes in this film are great, with everyone getting ample time to shine and be badass. The use of Shining form in this film is far better than any time it showed up in the series itself, and my jaw hit the floor at what happened to Gills. Of course, Hikawa is the real star of the movie, and his last battle is incredible.
If you haven't seen this movie yet, and you like Agito (or even if you don't), watch it ASAP.
