After eight series, Hirohisa Soda was finally ready to end his reign as head writer on the Super Sentai franchise. Thus, not only did Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman become his final series, but the series performed so poorly that it's follow up was planned to be the final Sentai series at the time. Is Fiveman that bad?
