Jungle Fury - Least Racially Diverse PR Season Yet?

That there aren't any black people in PR! God damnit, don't you get it? He's trying to lightly point out the fact that jungle fury may be another season that lacks black people other than mystic force. A 'no colored' team.


I'm not sure if its Disney not hiring any black people or is it just not any black people trying out for some of these roles.

I was a bit pissed off that there weren't any Black actors on Ninja Storm & Mystic Force and now I was ashamed of Samuel Benta because Disney made him set a very bad example to young black men. I mean, what the hell were they thinking? Why couldn't he be the blue ranger and have the Asian actor who played Dax as the Black Ranger?

This definitely proofs that no matter what Disney does to the Power Rangers it will never, ever, EVER be like Saban Entertainment.

Well, keeping the show diverse is important I think. For a kids show aswell, it sends a bad message to the kids.


Disney might need to change the manner they look for people to feel those roles.

But whats wrong with having an African black ranger. After the first season of MMPR it was never done again and I think the point was proven already that it has nothing to do with color. When we have Black actors play every role except the Black ranger then that means that we made a problem out of nothing, thats why they should play every role. IMO the black ranger costume is usually one of the coolest looking ones and usually they have a really interesting character (at least in SS they do).

Well i have nothing against a black black ranger. Though repeating it over and over in other seasons will raise a few eyebrows I'd just be happy to see actors/actress of color on the show.
