'The Mandalorian' is definitely a fascinating case for the franchise. It’s like they managed to blend nostalgia with fresh storytelling, which is tricky to pull off. I totally get the fan service critique, but honestly, I think it walks that line pretty well. The Mandalorian culture exploration has added so much depth, especially with characters like Bo-Katan, her journey really taps into the rich lore that Star Wars fans love.
As for sustainability, I’m optimistic. The world-building feels expansive, especially with all those spin-off teasers. I do worry about the risk of rehashing old stories, but if they keep introducing new elements and characters like they’ve done with Grogu and Din Djarin, they could maintain that balance. I mean, look at how well they've integrated themes of family and honor into the mix.
What spin-off are you most excited about? I’m really hoping they dive deeper into Ahsoka’s story!
