Is Spielvan still on DVD?

Black Ranger RX

I don't have low self esteem.
Just wondering..

Is Spielvan still / has ever been released on official Toei DVD? Coz I can't seem to find it anywhere!!

That's strange!! How come it's available on CD Japan's Japanese site, but not on their English site? :sly:

Oh, and is there 4 volumes or is there more?

It's a fairly straight forward, all they did was leave out the U in ス.

Spilban seems like a valid romaji transcription of スピルバン to me

The proper way to spell it is "Spielban," actually. His name was inspired by Spielberg (just as Gavan's by Jean Gabin and Shaider by Roy Scheider).

The Spielban DVDs are nice in that they're one of the only older Toei releases I know of that have extras that go beyond the standard galleries. There are two interviews with Hiroshi Watari (Spielban) and Makoto Sumikawa (Diana) and one with co-star/theme singer Ichirou Mizuki.

:sly: Toei actually put something besides a gallery or BGM over a black screen on an older toku DVD? I think the end of the world is nearing.
