Iron-Man (RDJ) vs Batman (CB)...

I thought the Dark Knight tried to hard, tried too hard to not be a comic book film, tried to hard to be super smart, tried to hard to push certain themes, and really it felt more like a chore watching it, than an entertaining experience, like Batman Begins was. Not that it was a completely horrible movie, it's just not as great as everyone says it is.

Iron Man was just fucking perfect, RDJ was Tony Stark, and they got the Armor right, and the tone and attitude of the characters just right. They also also did a nice job with Iron Man's voice, it was distorted and mechanized, but you could still tell it RDJ as Tony speaking. How hard would it have been for them to distort Bruce's voice digitally, and not make him sound like he had a cold. I can't wait for Iron Man to come out on DVD, then I'll be able to watch it anytime I want. :buttrock:

Iron Man is not without its flaws though. Iron Man lacked motivation for characters, I mean like emotional depth. The whole movie felt like a check list , do this, go there, fight that, do that, etc. Not one smooth flowing plot with defined motivation. To be fair however that does match the Tony Stark character but doesn't necessarily do well for cinematography
