I mean i just read a thread that was so fucking ridiculous i was like WHY THE HELL ARE YOU EVEN HERE?!?!?!? STOP BITCHING and GO TO ANOTHER BOARD.


I will admit yeah im new to this genre but damn, some of yall make me want to never discuss that i'm even a fan of this.

A lot of people could be coming for the PR side of things? Maybe they like other Toku as well? The members here are better than most Toku/PR related boards, easier to talk with.

I believe it also depends on what type of Sentai you talk about. Some people do not like new age Sentai due to its "cutesyness".

I could understand that. All the cutsey goofy clips I've seen of Abaranger have practically turned me off to the series all together unless I can somehow see it for free.

Hurricanger had some sweetness, but also a good amount of kickassery as well.

Someday I hope to see fully subbed "older school" sentai and behold these much vaunted stories of legend like DaiRanger, Maskman, and Jetman.

...seriously, the things people on this board usually hate are the "bothersome, bizarre, and annoying" aspects of either PR/adapts or Sentai/toku...

I saw Abaranger for free...up to episode 36 though. First ten or so episodes are hard to get by, but it's all great once the Abarekiller comes in. I think it's just that new Sentai is too kiddy, it doesn't have the feel of older stuff. The stories aren't there. Even some early Abaranger was good, red having to balance being a ranger and have a daughter.

Seen the first TVN episodes and to no end was delighted.

I got the rest RAW on DVD and to watch it without subtitles makes my head hurt and teeth ache.
