I don't like Nirvana

Hated this band with all my heart.. And really have no love for the Foo Fighters either. But then again I'm a KISS, Alice Cooper, & Meatloaf fan.

You know, I still love "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters but I dont like any of their songs. So I feel you there. I really think their stuff is greatly overrated. I dont see where the appeal is.

I always thought they were ok, but I cannot stand their fanbase at all. Go to Youtube and take a look at Weird Al's Smells like Nirvana. The comments from the Nirvana fans are just completely ridiculous.

Nirvana's sound is no longer that unique by contemporary standards, but the reason for that is that many of today's popular rock bands completely styled their sound after bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam and that sound has since become so widely adopted and modified that it detracts from the originality of the innovator when heard by modern listeners. I'm not the biggest fan of Nirvana's work save for a few standout songs, but I can at least recognize why they were so influential at the time and remain so popular with fans, a sentiment similar to my opinion of the Beatles except I can't fucking stand the Beatles.

Weird Al is a god to me. I love all his stuff.
