Hyper Sentinel Goes Physical On Switch...And On Cassette

[Peter Paltridge]

The space shooter Hyper Sentinel will be released in physical form on Switch soon, thanks to the efforts of VGNYsoft. Just like their previous release, the game will come in both standard and limited collectors’ editions. There’s something extra this time, however.

Honestly, making a cassette soundtrack in 2023 feels like a seriously questionable move. Who in the world still uses cassettes when even CDs are fading away? And let's face it, Hyper Sentinel isn't exactly taking the gaming world by storm. This seems like a risky financial choice, to say the least. Good luck to them, but it's undeniably a head-scratcher

Hyper Sentinel going physical? Count me in! I'm a sucker for collector's editions, and that Elite Edition with the metallic cover and limited numbers is a must-have.

Seriously, who even uses cassettes anymore? Hyper Sentinel, you had me at physical release, but a cassette soundtrack? Nah, I'll stick to digital, thanks.A cassette for Hyper Sentinel? Come on, that's just a waste of time and money. I'll pass on that and stick to the game itself.

Cassette for Hyper Sentinel? What's next, floppy disks? This is 2023, not the '80s. I'll take the game, but the cassette? No thanks.
