That sounds intriguing! I love a good crime and psychological thriller, and it’s always fascinating to see how adaptations handle the source material. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a Korean drama that really pulled me in, maybe this one will be the one to catch my attention! The title alone suggests there's a lot of depth to the characters and plot. What's your take on the psychological aspects of the story? Do you think it’ll dive deep into the characters' motivations, or will it be more focused on plot twists and suspense?

Okay this drama is dark dark. Like parent-from-hell level dark. The idea that the dad might still be alive and trying to turn his daughter into him gave me chills. I liked how they showed her memories coming back in pieces instead of one big flashback dump. The investigation parts with the police team were okay but the real story is inside Seo Se-Hyeon’s head. Worth watching on Disney+ if you’re into thrillers that make you uncomfortable.

Not gonna lie, I almost dropped it after episode 3 because it felt too heavy. But I stuck around and glad I did. The chemistry between the leads is quiet but strong. No cheesy romance, just two damaged people trying to do the right thing. The forensic science feels believable and the kills are gross in a smart way. Park Ju-Hyun deserves more big roles after this. If you liked Extracurricular or Mouse you’ll probably like this too. Solid watch.

This drama scared me more than most horror movies. The thought of your own parent coming back to finish what they started is terrifying. Seo Se-Hyeon is such a complex lead, you feel bad for her but also wonder what she’s capable of. The supporting cast is good but it’s really her show. Some slow parts in the middle but the last four episodes are intense. Good pick for thriller fans who want something psychological.

Pretty good K-thriller. The forensic details are interesting and the main actress sells the role hard. The secret from her childhood adds real weight to every decision she makes. Not super fast but builds nicely. If you want something darker than usual rom-coms, give it a try.

I'm kind of drawn to K-dramas where a child is trying to overcome the dark shadow of a parent. It's not fair that someone else's life stands in the way of you living your own. Also, if you're a child and you grow up knowing what your parent did, that's already a hard mountain to climb. There's no way the kid doesn't have psychological damage. So when I watch the show, I root for the kid all the way. I'm like … YOU CAN OVERCOME!
