Haha, it must be...really weird watching a sci-fi movie with little to no special effects, that would probably just turn me off even more. XD

nah u just have to read eeeevery single series from marvel to understand what's going on

i just stick to the x-men world stuff though.. those are usually the ones who pop in and out of the various comics newayz... besides.... i find that reading recent comics... u can find out what happened in the whole year... by reading all the new stuff... if that makes sense? ... they recap like every two pages in the series >_< ... massive waste of 32 pages all the time -_-

Those comics are...effing confusing, you have to read like, three issues of one series, one of another, half of one from another before reading five more from another that has half an issue's worth of actual info and...egh. Confusing. All I know is that Wolverine was born in 1800s Canada, apparently.

It doesn't help matters that Wolverine is over 150 years old... Makes for a looong backstory.

Marvel is actually really bad at this. You need to read just about everything their publishing in order for the entire story to make sense. Or just wait for the trade paperbacks which do it for you.

Hey, I'm a girl and I read comics! :thumbs:

I mostly stick to X-Men and Spider-Man when I'm just reading them on my own, though. I'll do more if it gets recommended to me, or if I'm borrowing it from a friend and don't actually have to pay for it.

you actually understood civil war? ......XD last arc i read was the endagered species arc...... at least i think that's what it was called... i kinda forget .. and then the messiah complex.. and theeen i came back to school and i can't find a comic book store nearby to get them from..or the time to go anywayz......sooo no more comics ;_;

So, today I lent my friend two DVD's, Kamen Rider The First, and Kamen Rider Ryuki: Episode Final (Theatrical Version). Hopefully he and his brother will like it and will be able to join us here in the Toku commnity >

And american comix still suck.
