I don't see a separate Kamen Rider 101 thread so I'll just drop this comment. I'm really surprised you guys didn't talk about Starfish Hitler when talking about X.

I'm sure they'll get to Kaiju talk later on.

If you've seen the episode, you know why: not really much to say. Once you get beyond the idea of the monster, it's really pretty standard fare. The craziest part of that episode to me is the scientist posing as a hippie. From America!

Listening to the second episode now and I've got to ask, were there technical problems putting it together? The episode sort of seems to stop dead for a second or two every now and then.

Regarding X, I'm actually surprised no one mentioned Apollo Geist. I always saw him as one of the first truly evil "rival" sort of characters.

I think we did go through a few series quicker than others, given that not everyone recording had seen every series and we were trying to get through all of them in a reasonably sane amount of time. Honestly, I could talk about any one of the old shows for ages, but the idea was just a very brief overview. It's also hard to remember to bring up every last little detail, and sometimes even the most obvious ones slip the mind.
