Direct Connect ain't IRC done right. IRC is IRC. I'm not going to use Direct Connect, I'm sticking to IRC, I've been using IRC for almost 10 years now it hasn't failed me yet.

Dude, most people ain't too fond of IRC, it's a little intensive sometimes, DC++ is much easier to use for the masses.

Not too fond of DC myself. Personally. Technically I have no problems, but I just hate it as a chat client. It's really not made to be a chat client, it's much more a fileswapping program.
