Oh yeah.

It's like Doctor Who in Japan. They thought it was for older viewers that was shown in late nights, whereas in actual fact, this was a family show that was put on Saturday afternoons.

And yeah, I agree with Ladymercury. I can't stand some male hardcore fans who bicker and complain on comparing Kamen Rider shows, regardless of the generation. It's like comparing Final Fantasy VII and VIII all over again. And don't get me started on whether you think VII/VIII was better than VII/VIII (delete where approriate).

I was surprised while watching Kabuto, at the amount of swearing in the show, because it IS a kid's show. But it's SO easy to forget that it's aimed at children...I was actually quite impressed with it when I first began to watch.

There's no swearing in Kabuto, that was just the translator adding that in. Fusaken na doesn't mean " stop fucking around ".

As for KR, I just get tired of people complaining, especially about the new gens. I agree with the theory that people treat it as if it was Naruto or a Sgt. Frog. Its ridiculous and when they try to justify it they sound like complete assholes or retards.

Actually any swearing we see in the subtitles is the subber's perrogative. Sometimes some subbers make things EXTREME. Not that I'm accusing mind you.
