Boss Team Games just announced a new line of titles called RetroRealms that will feature 2D pixel art, classic gameplay, and familiar characters. And the first two RetroRealms games are all about…Halloween and The Evil Dead! It gets better: Wayforward is the developer! Halloween, despite using the original logo and imagery on its packaging, doesn’t appear to be based on any particular movie in the series….but it is the first Halloween game to let you play as Michael Myers. Ash Vs. The Evil Dead is specifically focused on the Starz series and has you playing the aged version of Ash […]

Pixel art? Really? I mean, it's cool for some people, I guess. But I'm all about that 3D graphics life. If I want to play as Michael Myers or Laurie Strode, I'll just stick to Dead by Daylight. Gives me the chills and the thrills, you know? This retro stuff just doesn't do it for me.

Wayforward making a retro-style game? That’s interesting. Pixel art and classic gameplay? Cool, I like that. Playing as Michael Myers and Ash? That’s unexpected. I’m curious to see how they handle the horror elements. The Collector’s Edition looks neat, but I’m more interested in the gameplay. I hope they release a PC version.

This is insane! Wayforward making a retro-style Halloween and Evil Dead game? I'm having a full-on nostalgia trip right now. Pixel art, classic gameplay? This is exactly what I've been wanting. Playing as Michael Myers and Ash? It's like they're reading my mind. I'm definitely getting both games. The Collector's Edition for Halloween is tempting, but I'm more of a digital kind of guy. I hope they release a digital deluxe edition with extra goodies. Can't wait to see how they handle the crossover between the two games. This is gonna be epic!

Its a smart movie because the 3d horror game market is over saturated
