I don't know why they call this "Top Ten Worst Consoles." It's seems contradictory. Anyway, here's what the website though of the worst of the video game systems. I got news; one current one isn't on it. :eyebrow:

hey, its WAY too early to count the ps3 out of the gaming world. it still has a chance to pick itself back up and if the upcoming games along with its trophies system(kinda like gamer points) and online 3D chat work out, then the ps3 will easily gain some ground back.

and on another note: i don't think a system never released should have been put on the list.

Virtua Fighter 5
Metal Gear Solid 4 (Article that didn't show too much info)
FFXIII (same as MGS4)

Those are 3 out of the 5 upcoming Console buyers for the PS3, Tekken 6 might be next

yeah but lets not forget Heavenly Sword and...that one dragon riding game. Also, FFXIII is a maybe as well as MGS4, there just rumors for now. As for VF5, i don't know, i don't pay attention to that series.

MGS4 isn't a rumor, I'm gonna have to go digging to find a link to an article stating it wont be an exclusive. FFXIII simply stated it wasn't an exclusive, but not the console it could also be on nor if it will be a direct port.

VF is a huge series in japan and almost as huge in America, if you were god at VF3 you were the god at your local arcade until you were dethroned. If they still play it in Tougeki, its still a big series. Heavenly Sword isn't a PS3 buyer, I don't see a mass load of people wanting a PS3 for mainly Heavenly Sword, I personally don't see whats so great about Heavenly Sword, looks like a game I could beat in one day and get bored with it the rest of my life.

Not really fair to list the Gizmondo since it turned out to be a massive embelzelment scheme instead of an actual attempt at creating a system. Good for them for mentioning Sonic CD (but not shining force 3???) while trashing Sega CD. And I LOVE my Virtual Boy!!!!

Yup, spotted it!!

Yeah, I guess it's too early to start naming and shaming the PlayStation 3. As much I I find it a lame console, the thing's only been released not too long ago, so maybe we'll wait a few years and see how it does. To be honest I don't quite fancy the PS3 or the Wii or the XBox 360, I'm happy with my Dreamcast and PlayStation 2. :thumbs:

Anybody remember the Nintendo 64DD (Disk Drive)? I remember getting all excited about it at the time. In the end it was only released in Japan, it didn't sell very well in Japan and not many games were released for it. Guess all this excitement for it was a waste of time then. :disappoin

i don't know! i thought god of war was stupid and people LOVE that game. you can't really judge a game by its cover and i'm just saying that i think that the ps3 hasn't yet begun to fight.

thanks for the link. a lot of those consoles dont even ring a bell in my mind. no wonder why they are on that list.
