Grayson: A short fanfilm

Okay, I don't know who's seen this, since its sort of old (2004 I think), but someone mentioning a Superman fanfilm reminded me of this oh-so-sweet fanfilm called Grayson. The film is about an aged Dick Grayson becoming Robin again to avenge the death of Batman. Its sort of a mixed universe, so you its kind of like a cross between the Adam West Batman and hardcore DCU. You get to see Superman, Green Arrow, and IIRC (I haven't seen this since last summer)...Wonder Woman. All in custom costumes too, I recall.

Saw it in mid-2004. While it doesn't have as many resources as Sandy Collora's films, John Fiorella did a great job with Grayson. Despite the low-budget, he's got craft and talent!

I agree. Damn shame we can't get a full version of this.

It's actually all hardcore DCU. The closest thing to Adam West's era are the costumes, and that's becuase

A) Tights in a live-action environment rarely work
and
B) He didn't really have the budget to do any of the changes that the movies do.

Yep, except it was Green Lantern, not Green Arrow. :sweat:

Do yourselves a favor and grab the behind the scenes featurette that's on that page. Fiorella does commentary on how he created the movie, from how and where he filmed it to the costumes and effects. It's very informative (if you like hearing and learning about that stuff).
