Yes, there was a difference and they are in Size and Material used. A lot of people say the DX Gourai Changer has a better material based than the DX Thunder Morpher. In addition, the DX Gourai Changer is smaller than the DX Thunder Morpher where it is unknowingly inflated in size and looks awkward.
