By this point in a Super Sentai series (roughly the 20-episode mark), we are introduced to the "New Ranger," an expansion in the roster serving as plot expansion and additional merchandising possibilities.
Goseiger is no exception. We have only recently met GoseiKnight and he is quickly becoming the best thing about this series. Not that that's a difficult step...

GoseiKnight is a warrior who has sworn to purify the planet. Initially the Goseigers have no idea where he came from but Knight quickly reveals his true form-

GoseiKnight was once the GroundLeon Header, and he has taken on a humanoid form to continue his duties of protecting the planet.
Like the Goseigers' personal Headers, the Leon Header grafts itself onto a modern vehicle-

transforming a dump truck into the GroundLeon! This is a very solid Zord; the design is somewhat similar to the Black Thunderzord.
GoseiKnight also has access to the Knightick Brothers SeaLeon & Skyon, two more Headers that increase his powers. They also adapt to modern forms-

SeaLeon copies a cruise ship while Skyon replicates a blimp. These are very typical Zords; nothing really exciting about their designs.
By using his Tensou powers of activating inter-locks & connecting dyna-therms, GoseiKnight can combine with the Knightik Brothers to create...

GoseiGrand! Well, actually the official name is apparently Ground (allegedly the name could be translated either way) but I'm sticking with the first-reported name of "Grand" because it pairs up better with the earlier GoseiGreat.
While GoseiGreat embodies the sleek, modern Megazord design, Grand feels more like a throwback to older designs- this is a bulky, close-combat fighter. The detail is very impressive and theres a pretty high amount of play value.
But of course, the real reason for multiple Megazord releases is to combine them together!

The upcoming GrandGoseiGreat, has yet to appear in the show but should be coming soon. The combination is pretty creative and while hardly elegant this fusion isn't nearly as much as a clusterfuck as some stuff from previous years.

Mecha designs are the one thing Goseiger has done consistently well, and GoseiGrand is no exception. He's a very solid, fun Megazord- serves well as a backup to GoseiGreat and is pretty good by his own merits too. Gets my recommendation!
