Good Indy Action Directors

[Kitt Taylor]

I have recently been on the prowl for some Good Indy Action films on YouTube, I know about Jabroniepictures and recently found out about leokeiangelos but was wondering if anyone could suggest to me some Good Indy Action directors preferably on YouTube, all help will be greatly appreciated. Hope you guys are able to assist me with this, thank you very much for your time.

Hey Kitt, sorry I didn't see this sooner.

Jabronie Pictures is indeed a big name in independent action, and Jay and the rest of the crew have worked with other guys like Lester Nguyen (Rising Tiger Productions), Joe Fermin (Fistylez), Vlad Rimburg (VJ Films), and Jon Truei (Surprise Terminated). Some lesser-known but equally impressive groups trying to get their name out include Reckless Ninja Squad, Lazy Brown Productions (who have been putting out some phenomenal stuff as of late), MagFighters, and Z-Team Stunts. Although they don't updated as often, as most of the respective groups' members have gone on to work on professional projects, Reelkick (founded by Sam Hargrave), Infinite Quest Films and Zero Gravity are all on the higher production value end of the spectrum. And lastly there's The Stunt People, of course, who are the most prolific and arguably the most talented indy action group around, who update fairly frequently with test fights, training videos, and short films on their site (www.thestuntpeople.com), where many members of other action groups convene to discuss martial arts, professional movies and filmmaking techniques, and show off projects of their own. I post down there quite a bit and have gotten to know many of these guys on a more personal level, and they're all very cool, very motivated individuals. I encourage you to sign up for the forum there if you're interested in learning and seeing more from each group!
