Very pumped for this flick! Just ordered those blu-ray Godzilla double features they just put out. Some of my favs on there, Destoroyah, 90s Mechagodzilla, Final Wars, oh yes.

Those use Toho's HD masters. Beware since they don't look that great in HD.

Finally saw it and was incredibly pleased. Felt like an old Godzilla movie with big budget effects.

You get the impression that Gamera and Mothra (and other daikaiju) were watching this film and thinking...

Gamera: Why is Godzilla fighting "Gaos"? The f'ck he's showing facial emotion...he's stealing from Guardian of the Universe...THAT BASTARD!!!

Mothra (with her children): ...my return is near.:laugh:

Yonggary: ...hmm...skydiving soldiers...I remember something like this except they had rocket packs. And I think one of them tried to act like Al Pacino from Scar Face. Hmm...didn't the Transformers deal with that also?
