Girlfriend is Toku-psychic

VengeanceGOD

WIIIIIIIIIIII!
Occasionally, when she's really tired, my girlfriend says weird things in her sleep. It's ranged from evil laughter to her asking me where the "N+1" is. But a few months ago, the really odd ones started. We had been watching Blade and SPD together, but she doesn't go to any of these sites so she knows nothing about them. One night, I climbed into bed, and the first Toku reference came up, which was something along the lines of "The pink ranger got hit so they had to bring them together." :) The next night, she turns over, mumbles "Chalice got a new form..." and proceeds to describe Wild Form. In her sleep. With no previous knowledge of it. Befuddled, I went to sleep, but the next night it continued. She turned to me and mentioned, in mid-dream, "They've gone to SWAT." Again, she doesn't know Deka, and hasn't heard anything about SWAT form before. :)

I'm thinking of asking her what the next Sentai and KR will be while she sleeps. ;)

It's known to happen. But you know, how do you know she doesnt know these things? Girls are smart man. They know how to work them Nintenders and Comperters mighty well on their own.

I mean, the thing to be suspicious about is frequency and detail. If shes doing it a lot and in great, specific detail, then chances are she's faking and getting a kick out of your gullible nature. For what twisted purposes, who knows. I cant read them crazy minds.

But hey. It could be legite. You might want to put her to a more specific test. If she can talk about SWAT "in her dreams" without knowing of Deka or their power up (Hell, if she doesnt know about that, how do you know she was referring to Dekas SWAT and not an actual SWAT TEAM. you know. they exist in the real world) then you should try getting her to talk about more specific things that she wouldnt be able to know to prove your hypothesis.

And meow meows. Still. Pretty nice to have a GF who watches toku.

Well, I mostly posted this for the amusement factor. I'm sure there's a better explanation than she's actually psychic. Still, a pretty funny coincidence.

Funny story, but we all know if she was truly toku-psychic, she'd know better than to watch something like Blade. :P

Well, when you watch enough Toku, you begin to see a pattern with certain storylines.. It's nothing psychic, it's just that sometimes, shows make the mistake of being predictable

That's why I love KR Hibiki so much. It's nothing like the previous Kamen Riders. I mean, that doesn't mean the show is completely unpredictable (very few things are)
