Ghost Rider Movie - Discussion

[Ragna "D" BloodEdge]

In which case, he probably won't be here until Monday.:rimshot:

[Judge Faiz]

Yeah...the license plate was from his "normal" chopper (forget what it's name is off hand), and he's had that bike since he was a kid (you see it in the tent at the circus before Mestipho-whatever his name is even shows up). That's how the cops got on to him. Sure it's a REALLY loose way to give the cops a reason to chase GR...but I really liked that scene.

There wasn't much about the movie I didn't like....well maybe the fight scenes...ie-the Hidden getting taken out WAAAAY to easily.

Here's hoping for a rated 'R' version when the DVD is released!!

I felt the fight scenes were very weak. I mean the humor was great so it was easy to enjoy it but I wanted more from the action. It seemed like the baddie would get in one or two good hits on the Rider but then Ghost would just one shot the baddie. Kinda lame. He's got a shotgun, a bad ass chain, a bike. I just expected more ass kicking. Then this whole "omg help me someone help me" scene felt shoved in there. I dunno.

[Forever Knight]

Saw the flick last week and loved every minute of it.

I'd give up Tokusatsu to touch Eva Mendez.

[Red Dragon]

I loved this movie, it did feel like some things were missing though, so I expect we will get a Director's Cut or a Version They Wouldn't Show You In Theaters DVD release. One of my favorite scenes is when JB is being put in the jail cell and starts freaking out around all the convicts, the best 2 parts of that scene were when GR gets the new jacket and gloves and the spikes pop out then as he is leaving he points at the kid and says "Innocent". That voice was great, I really liked how they did Caretakers voice, the mix of Sam Elliot's regular voice and the GR voice was perfect, it's too bad he won't be in a sequel, which I hope we get. I would really like to see Vengeance in a sequel though, especially since we got a toy of him, I was expecting to see him in this one. Anyways I thought it was a great beginning to the GR movie franchise.

[ForeverRed]

I just finished watching the movie. Ok, that was... pretty interesting. To be honest, it was pretty good, not the best movie ever. Nicolas Cage did was really good job as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider.

Gosh, Eva Mendes is soo hot. She almost remind me of Cindy Crawford.

The lack of action scenes disappointed me. I doubt there'll be a lot of action in Extended Version. Yes, it came out on DVD.

So I'll give this movie an B. (No + or -) Just B.

If there is a sequel of this, I'll probably looking forward to see soon.
