GARO Special: Beast of the White Night - Talkback!

By the blade of night... mankind is given hope once again.

GO! :buttrock:

I have to wait until I get home to start the DL.

This looks like it's going to be an interesting special. I loved part one. The new intro narative was a nice touch. Kouga made a great entrance as did Rei (he's got some good looking new threads). Seeing Ginga again was cool, loved the way he stomped that Karakuri while going down the side of the building. Tsubasa's intro was great, he seems like an interesting Makai Knight. The villains also look pretty cool, I love the Karakuri and can't wait to see the three knights take them on together.

Im looking forward to see some new Garo again. still downloading though

Was pretty good, could have been a lot better, but I expect that to come with the second half. I love Tsubasa's suit, really looks great. The character of Rin was good too, there's probably something big coming with her, the ending to the thing really made me think that when she broke down crying.

BTW, does anyone know if we're going to see anymore Garo after these specials?

I was both up and down with this special. There were parts that were really great and other parts that were just... well, seemed artificial. The whole Makai beast thing was great... had me really entertained. But the eye googly thing just seems out of place... and Rin I find to be outright anoying. Her acting is just so phoney. When she broke down crying it sounded like they took 3 seconds of her crying and made a loop track. Gah.

Gon is cute and fun. Rin is not.

Anywho, the fighting is as inventive as ever. No disapointment there. The CG was also fairly good. Several new songs that I want the mp3's for as well.

Still I gotta ask the question... Do Makai Knights always fight when they meet one another? Maybe it's just Kuuga. Because he has the title of Garo every Knight he meets has to try and kill him out of obligation.

Oh look! It's Garo! Quick, lets show our respect by trying to kill him! :rolleyes2:

I guess a lot of people were up and down, but I found this special mind blowingly awesome. It's everything I love about Garo but more polished.

I think as far as the white knight attack Kouga, "Japanese Tough guys" fight a lot to test their strength against one another. Kamen Riders fight each other all the time. If I were a Makai Knight, and there was a dude that had a title designating him "the strongest" I'd probably want to fight him too, to see if it was true or JUST a title.

I can't wait for part two. I really hope we get an outright SEASON 2.

The way I see it, Tsubasa and Kouga's skirmish was more due to Kouga tresspassing into Tsubasa's territory and almost disrespectful attitude about it. Plus Tsubasa was ready to fight Kouga reguardless of his title. Different situation from Rei looking for a fight with Kouga in the series, but that was Barago's doing.

man, this Special was just too amazing. i feel like i loved it even before i watched it. i was so glad to see all my favorite characters again. i thought the introduction was done pretty well to set up the story. the introduction of Tsubasa was pretty cool too. he is just a bad ass already and his White Knight design is awesome! the designs for the Villain and the Horrors were pretty creepy. some of the disturbing stuff in this Special made me feel like i was watching The Grudge again. kudos for the Designers for that. i thought Rin was pretty cute. i dont really find her annoying yet. i enjoyed the cameo appearances from the major players in the first Season too. man, i cant wait for the second part!

I have to say it was up and down for me too. The plot wasnt very interesting (but I expected as much), the action was great but there just wasnt enough of it. I expected more Knight action.

The Knight of the north is bad fucking ASS!!! He uses my favorite weapon!! >_< Too freaking awesome. Im not too fond of his stubborn personality though. I love it when Garo's sword gets big but god damn! It got HUGE at the end. ****.. That was awesome though.

Best fight was Kouga's battle against his "Sentiments". I loved seeing the Butler-Dude in action again. He is a fantastic fighter!
