Garage sale jack pot!

[poshmommy]

So it is garage sale season and my son and I went to go check out a local japanese garage sale.

We came across a clear box that was taped up. Inside I could see a den-o driver and parts of a go-onger robot so we decided to purchase it. When we got home we opened it up. To my son's surprise there was a few more den-o toys and go-onger toy.

So how much do you think we paid for everything?
the toys have been well played with and came with out boxes but all bandai japan.

81 views and no one wanted to guess how much we paid!?

Well for the whole set we paid $13. Not a bad deal considering my son has been glued to his new toys for the last 4 hours!

LOL, that's worth a lot.Anyway, your son really knows how to handle his belongings. When I was little, I literally broke every toy I owned in about 5 months or less.He even glued them back up.

Also, does he actually watch the shows or does he only play with the toys?

We have had long talks about how if he doesn't take good care of his toys then we won't buy him any new toys. He once lost a ooo medal, he learned his lesson from that one.

He does watch the shows. He started with Double and Goseiger. He hasn't watched Den-o other than in the movies. It's kind of hard to avoid it because the shows are technically geared towards preschool age and up. All the Japanese children's magazines show pictures of sentai and rider and ultramen. Plus all of his Japanese friends are into it as well. Since we live in the states it's a good way for him to listen to Japanese and continue his interest in Japan/Japanese language.
