Boo on that.
iTunes is a freaking awesome business model as well as music management program. You never know what you're going to get when you use P2P or BT and they eat your bandwidth for breakfast. iTMS is fast, easy to navigate, and has previews for EVERY song.
The record companies are just getting greedy. They'll shut up when Jobs threatens to pull support or something. They can't get that kind of proprietary advantage over their product from anywhere else, and probably can't make any more money going with someone else as a vendor.
I've spent at least $300 on iTunes over the year and a half I've had my wonderful, wonderful iPod and don't plan to stop. If they raise DL prices I'll just go back to buying the CDs when they first come out and just paying $10.
EFF THE RIAA!!!
