The mainstream heyday of video game magazines is long past, but independent projects have risen to fill the gap. You may have heard of publications like Nintendo Force, produced by fans of game magazines that want to keep the spirit alive. From Gamers, now
crowdfunding funds for its first two issues, is a bit different. Its content will ALSO be crowdsourced.
What does that mean? It means that instead of a steady writing staff, the material within its covers will be almost entirely created by readers. Anyone with the drive and passion to write a gaming article can submit their material and potentially get published.
Why, it’s almost like…phew, almost gave in to making a personal plug, but caught myself just in time.
