Friends and Tokusatsu...

It can be more enjoyable if you can share it with others.

My closest friends are more than aware of my tokusatsu obsession, and i do show them some cool toku stuff from time to time (i got one of them interested into Garo), but usually i don´t try to pro actively "get" people into Toku, partly because i believe that in order to enjoy Toku people must hear The Call™, but also because i don´t like to be one of those people who like to bug others to get them into their hobbies (i know some people who do that and it is kind of annoying).

This. I have friends who enjoy Toku and I have friends who don't. It all boils down to whether you come across as a weirdo to others or not. Your life can't rotate around Toku. That's what turns people off.

I've actually managed to get a lot of people to watch (and enjoy) several episodes. But it's hard getting internet friends to watch entire series. Haven't really gotten anyone "into it" yet, but my sister watches episodes with me when she's home from college.

She particularly likes Den-O and OOO.
