Free game engine: Kakutou Tsukuru

Kakutou Tsukuru is the next evolutionary step after mugen. With this (commercial) engine, fans are able to create full games with hidden characters, high res graphics and more. Usually, the fan-made games are not 'open', meaning you can't add your own characters or stages, but the games are usually so good by themselves you won't even want to change a thing.

You'll only need to buy it if you want to create your own game. The already made fan games can be downloaded for free
