For Goodness Sake!!!

yeah exactly. And you know, what's worse is that some people actually camped for that piece of **** system and it doesnt even have good games or better graphics than the 360!

OMG, they CAMPED?!!! ALL FOR THE SHITTIEST CONSOLE IN THE WORLD?!!! Jeez, that's like running around the streets butt naked for an R-Zone (remember these things?). I mean... I dunno... speechless!!!

So much hysteria over a lackluster console. Sheesh...

Exactly what I was thinking!!

yeah there were some people who camped out for days just to get a PS3. Then there was news that some guy got shot and mugged for his PS3.

Personally, I think American Retailers dropped the ball on the PS3 launch. Some of the Japanese stores had the right idea in mind. I read an article in which one Japanese stores actually stated (before the store opened) that "if there's any violence or if anyone at all is hurt, we will immediately stop selling PS3s and close the store". That kept em in line.

You hit the nail on the head there, Fayt. It would be understandable, wait that's not right...it wouldn't be totally unexpected if the PS3 had some nice games out there right now but that's not the case. It's as if everybody wants to be the first kid on the block to brag "Look at me I got a PS3!!". If they were smarter they'd wait for the price to go down and/or some better games to appear. It's not like all of them are hardcore fans.

Idiots.

It's hilarious that this is what happened at the PS3 launch, yet the Wii launch went so smoothly and is now the #1 selling console (not overall, just recently) and no one gives a crap about the PS3. My local Best Buy has 20 of 'em just sitting by the counters, hoping someone will buy them.

They'll probably keep sitting there for a couple months more gathering dust. Long live the 360 and Wii.

I would tend to disagree that the Wii isn't the overall #1 selling console. Stores STILL can't keep the system on shelfs because of the overwhelming demand (and believe me...Nintendo is just as shocked as anyone that the things are still flying off the shelves). While you can pretty much find every other system w/ relitive ease. Unless you're going by sales numbers...well then I have no idea lol
