Five Most Anticipated Games of 2008.

fortunately.. my most anticipated game actually drops next week

Tales of Vesperia
Little Big Planet
SRT Z or Persona 4.. they're interchangeable
Mirror's Edge

FarCry 2 (looks like a pretty decent shooter)
Mirror's Edge (pretty cool)
Fallout 3 (gameplay footage put me off but the atmosphere and story look to be potentially brilliant)
Dead Space (interesting)
Little Big Planet (looks really fun)

And there's a lot more on the list that I want... Argh... Plus hoping to get a 360 so even more...

I know it doesn't actually come out for consoles until next year but my most anticipated game is by far, Street Fighter IV. I'm already stocking up on Hori Fighting Sticks in anticipation of grinding those bastards down to the bone with hours upon hours and days upon days of fighting. Seriously.

As for 2008.

1. Mega Man 9 (Wii) - I'm completely down with the retro.
2. Battle Fantasia (360) - I'm expecting this to be an appetizer for SF4.
3. Dragon Quest IV (DS) - My favorite RPG that isn't a Lunar game.
4. Prince of Persia (360) - The gameplay is looking fantastic, looks to be this year's Assassin's Creed only better.
5. Chrono Trigger DS (DS) - I sided with Genesis during the 16-bit era, so I never played the original. I'm looking forward to seeing what all the hype was about.

In 2009 so far.

1. Street Fighter IV (360) - Hellz yeah!
2. Mass Effect 2 (360) - Hold the line, frag some more Geth and tap some more of that fine blue ass!
3. Dragon Quest IX (DS) - I know the series never evolves that much but it just never gets old for me.
4. Final Fantasy XIII (360) - Once again, I'd like to thank Square Enix for saving me about $600.
5. WWE Legends of WrestleMania (360) - Classic blue cage for the win!

GoW2
Fable 2
Wrath of the Lich King
Dragon Quest IV (North American release)
Megaman 9

5. Chrono Trigger DS (DS) - I sided with Genesis during the 16-bit era, so I never played the original. I'm looking forward to seeing what all the hype was about.

If you never played it, the worst thing you can do is play this game on a tiny, split screen, with poor sound output (unless you use headphones). The neck-aches arent worth it.

Buy a used copy for the PS1 (with anime cutscenes, beautiful) or download the rom. That's only my opinion. Chrono Trigger, if you've never played it, deserves to be played the way it was meant. On a large screen, appropriate sound systems, and in total comfort.
