You have no idea how long it’s taken for HBO Max to send out any information about the Tiny Toons reboot they’ve been working on. Three whole years have gone by since the 2020 announcement of Tiny Toons Looniversity, but WB finally got around to throwing out a trailer this morning. I suppose now they can do a joke about Montana Max buying the whole streamer and changing its name to be all about him.

Warner Bros Finally remember this franchise exist. One of the best moments of my childhood during the 90s. I have a cousin and I call her Elmira because her pets are scared of her. LOL

It looks...mildly promising so far, but I'm still perplexed as to why they weren't able to recast Charlie Adler and Tress MacNeille as Buster and Babs' voices. What makes me even more perplexed is why the creators chose to make them siblings when in the original they dated at one point.

After seeing this teaser, I can see why the film's producers chose to replace Buster and Babes' well-known introduction of themselves with the words "no relation." that a remake of the original series is being created, similar to the remakes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and DuckTales 2017. And I'm hoping to learn from those shows so that this is the third-best reproduction of a vintage animated show. It's more of a remake than a reboot.

This appears to be a really exciting series because we're presenting the return of old Looney Tunes characters, but not only that—we're also introducing the return of Familia, the character from Space Jam who wanted to be Lola Bunny. Aside from the fact that we haven't seen her in a while, it appears like she's doing it for enjoyment. This appears to have the potential to be quite interesting, but we'll have to wait and see.

I'm also interested forward to seeing how Looniversity incorporates character development and story themes into its crazy antics. The show appears to reach a good balance of absurdity and seriousness, which is always a welcome change in animated series. And, of course, I'm excited to see what type of wacky shenanigans the characters get up to as they negotiate their college adventures.

I think the first glance I've seen of Tiny Toons Looniversity grabbed my fancy, and I can't wait to see more. As a fan of the original series, I'm happy to see that the relaunch is staying faithful to the show's roots while still exploring new territory. It sounds like it will be a fun and interesting television series to watch, so I'm looking forward to it being released this fall.
