Firefly - The True Space Western

[Ragna "D" BloodEdge]

I just remembered--Morena Baccarin, another cast member is Black Canary on JLU.

So there's an very very very unconfirmed rumor that Sci-fi might pick up a new season after the movie, depending on how it does.

I won't get my hopes up but I hope it's true

[VengeanceGOD]

I hope so too. But, who knows?

Oh man this show is AWESOME. I had wanted tos ee it for so long. Luckily my bf has the boxset of the 13 episodes and I borrowed it. If you even THINK you are gonna be a fan then just save yerself the trouble n buy the set right away, there are eps that never airedPLUS they are all in order... Fox was dumb and shuffled some of them around. I cant say anything bad about this show, and in the short time that I watched it, I got so hooked and so attacthed to these characters. I cant wait for Serenity in Sept. SUCH a good show. Characters, story, MUSIC! Fantastic. Id love to actually see another season, but I dont think itll happen either. BUT to be fair, they are contracted for 3 movies, but of course that all depends on how well the first one does.

I caught the pilot episode on tv years back, and the first episode of the series, and didn't much like it so I never got into it. I saw a preview for the movie when I saw Batman Begins, and I'm seriously vibing. I want to see it with as much anticipation as any movie I've seen recently.

The first two or three episodes, the show doesn't truly catch its stride, but the pieces are there.

Find or buy the series on DVD, I definately plan to, and you will see something truely great.

Actually, the show is coming to the Sci-Fi Channel pretty soon and you can catch it there.

Excellent... free is good.

I'll be posting up a stickied Talkback once the show lands so we can all watch, discuss, and cheer.

I just finished the series today and wow..... I can't believe I missed that show and it breaks my heart that the show didn't blossom into what it could've been and deserved to be.

Firefly returns to television, July 22nd.

Set your VCR's and Tivo's space cowboys... cuz there will be a Talkback.
