Finally bought Red Baron

[Kamen Rider ZIX]

Ok so I was reading the latest Otaku USA (I think. The cover is Death Note) and I came across the Mike's R5 section talking about Red Baron. It finally made me decide to got to my nearest Best Buy and buy the DVD set. After watching 2 episodes I was like:
"Wow this looks really old and the special effects for the Baron Punch was really cheesy :sweat: but you know what the story and the characters are pretty interesting and not a load of crap like the current tokusatsu series *cough*Kiva, Go-On*cough*"

Red Baron is pretty old school with miniature figures flying around, getting set on fire and crashing on exploding buildings. Ahhh just like the old days :anime:
So yeah if your currently hating this years Super Hero Time go and pic up the dvd set now!!! It' only $40.00 TOO in case you can't afford the Kamen Rider V3 box set ($170)

I got it during the summer, but I've only been able to watch 2 episodes so far (friggin' college courses taking up my time). Still, I loved every second of it! Also, like you said, Red Baron really does seem to have a whole lot more flavor and depth than this year's toku offerings.

Believe me. i plan on getting all the R1 dvd boxsets. so far i only have Ultraman VOL 1 and The Super Inframan[which i think a lot of you should check out cause its trippy as hell and i just love old school].

Yeah same here but the semester is almost over and I can finally catch up on shows I haven't been up to date.
My favorite character in Red Baron is the bicycle inspector (forgot his name) who has all these weird gadgets he uses to beat the crap out of Iron Alliance minions. My fav was the air pump bazooka :laugh:
