Ever been deceived by commercials?

Here's one story that happened just a while ago on the subject.

I see a pretty cool commercial for a good looking horror movie called "Primeval". It's supposed to be based on a true story and what got me really interested was that it said "Gustave, a notorious serial killer with more than 300 victims. He is still at large."

That line got me really interested in the film, especially since it's based off a true story. So, I go to look up stuff about the film...

Gustave is a fucking crocodile.

I've never been a fan of animal horror movies, so I'm glad as Hell I caught that before I actually paid to see it.

It could of been a porno. Maybe the word ''victims'' was just a name used to describe the many broken hearts and pelvises of women he has been through...or maybe even the ''He is still at large.'' line referred to his manhood.

The BIGGEST perpatraitor to this has to beh Highlander:End Game. It had Dunan and Connor jumping through quantum portals, talk of traveling through time, the original McLeod sword and a villian who had telekinesis.

NONE of this was in the movie WHATSOEVER!!!! :shakefist

Those late night commercials that say you can easily get a date by calling soandso...and I have yet to get laid.
Ok, all jokes aside, it once happened to my dad when he bought some kinda junk from a commercial. Obviously, it didn't turn out the way that he wanted and bitched up a storm for like a week.

those old Geiko commercials, the one where it say "...but it won't save you money on your car insurance." .The one that really got me was the one for the little house, where a married couple had to live in a house built for people half their size. That would have been a reality show I would have watched

Street Fighter the movie. The promos and commercials actualy made the movie look good, then again, I was 8 when the movie came out, so I didnt know better...
