Epic Mickey

You know despite Disney becoming a live action fest, I think they seem to alwasy do right when it comes to Mickey and Co, and they don't disappoint here, I'm surprised at how far they are branching out with their core Disney characters, who would have thought years ago you'd see Goofy and Donald interacting with Cloud from FF7.

But this is pretty interesting, I'll certainly look forward to it, it seems like it could turn out to be a decent platformer and zombie steam punk Goofy is just pure win.

Unless the release date changes we are only a couple months out from this and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Now I love Disney but I get more enjoyment out of the lesser known parts though. I mean I love the 50's Goofy shorts, my favorite character is Figment, my favorite Disney attraction is the Carousel of Progress. For me there is just some many wonderful parts that people hardly notice and this is a reason I am loving the concept of the game. I mean both Oswald and the Gremlins are going be major characters in this, that alone is amazing.

So on that note I am interested what obscure part of Disney lore would you love to see pop in this. First I would love to see a Thunder Mesa based area. For those unfamiliar with it Thunder Mesa was one of the planned areas for The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World which got canceled due to the 70's oil crisis. It is also one of the most famous and beloved lost attractions, in fact concepts of it were included in the design of Disneyland Paris's Frontierland and whenever subject of new park expansions come up some aspect of the original concept is submitted (and turned down). My longshot hope is the lost Cuban Caballero. This link will fill you in better than I could. There is just so much that could be included, and I hope that this does well enough that some sequels can explore all of it.
