Encoding for DVD?

Ok, so I got the first twenty episodes of Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law through BitTorrent a few weeks ago, and while some of the encodes aren't the greatest, some of them are pretty nice quality. I've tried to get them ready and burn them to a DVD, but it seems I'm always doing something wrong and they never end up in the right format, and Nero doesn't like that. I had been trying to use TMpegX(I think thats what it is), but that doesn't convert to the right format apparently, and even though my copy of Nero is supposed to have everything, it won't let me use "Recode DVD-Video" without paying for some add-on. Basically, all I need is a basic list of all the programs I need to use. I don't need anything too fancy, just want to watch these episodes(and maybe in the future, episodes of Kamen Rider Kabuto) on my TV through my better speakers. Thanks guys

I use TMPGEnc DVD Source Creater then TMPGEnc DVD Author to convert the files to MPEG2 (which are needed when burning to DVD) and then to burn the actual dvds.

It's pretty basic on the type of DVD menus you can create...but it's worked for me for the past year and a half.

Thanks, I downloaded both and I'm currently doing a test burn of the episode "Droopy Botox", cause it's a good episode and one of the higher quality ones. Hopefully it'll work out, cause then I can burn these DVDs to have for myself, and maybe even try to convert a friend of mine to Kamen Rider :anime:

Quick question......on my Harvey Birdman DVDs I've burned, they don't seem to be the correct aspect ratio....but I'll figure that one out.....anyways, this is my question.....what ratio should I encode TV-N's Magi Vs. Deka to so that it'll show up properly on my DVD player?

I usually tend to burn most stuff in widescreen so that the subtitles show up better on my TV. Although they work fine when on my PC, since that's how TVN made the episodes to be viewed.
