Thanks for the edit info. I was all set out to get this DVD this week but the WWE just lost a sale.

I thought the Benoit-Eddie match could have been better, they could have given them more time instead of letting JBL, Bischof and Angle waste air time. But, I have to admit, I was hoping Benoit would bust out the old Dragon suplex one more time

BULL ****. That was one of the kewlest moments of the damn show! to hear every fan chant the theme song and myself included! I mean WTF! >_< I should have recorded it! God dammit why didnt I record this! Maybe someone put it on torrent.. maybe. just maybe. GOD DAMMIT!

I concur. Im not buying the dvd. **** them. heres what I neve runderstood. WHY play a song on the damn TV or PPV if you cant keep that song when it goes to DVD? ANY moron knows that when you let your song get used on a TV show that it may eventually end up on DVD. Whats the big damn differance? Metalica should be fucking honored their music is chanted by that large crowd and their assholes.

I found this at PWinsider about the extras on the DVD

*Two TV commercials

*ECW vignette videos featuring Tommy Dreamer, Sandman, Rob Van Dam, Sabu, and the Dudley Boyz

*Video feature on the "ECW Funeral" from Raw.

*A short video feature on the ECW fans at the PPV, which includes post-show interviews with fans outside the Hammerstein Ballroom.

I realize they rushed this out and all, but seeing that they edited some of the music and had JBL do a commentary would it have killed them to add a couple of extra matches as easter eggs

Ok so all they took out was the Danny Doring interview and the "Enter Sandman" theme.

It could be alot worse.

Yeah, I'll probably pick this up, although it sucks that Metallica are assholes...wait...do Joey and Mick still comment on the crowd singing along even though you can't hear it? 'Cause that'd be hilarious.

As far as the PPV goes, it was too bad that all of the good matches, like the Jericho/Storm match (match of the night) were early, and then just got followed up by matches that didn't have any skill beyond Mike Awesome powerbombing Tanaka over and over. But still, awesome PPV.

Yup... Those were the extras along with JBL's commentary track which, by the way, he was being a total asshole on. He stayed in character and basically ran everything down. Nothing to brag about. The DVD is still worth getting for the event but it's really disappointing that Sandman's theme is not in. I agree with GPG, That was one of the coolest parts of the show and they neutered it. :nono:

numbers are out its in the 270,000 range, which is pretty low i thought it would do better.
