Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires

You can get different endings for this? I just figured you'd get different little things that happen during gameplay. ^^;;

Ah, I can help you with this.

Yeah, you can get some different endings, while they're not too much different, they are considered their own endings, as you can mess around with them in the ending edit mode that you get.

It breaks down into the following four:

Good ending, neutral ending, evil ending and the last "emperor" ending. Emperor ending also has a good or evil verison, depending on your actions.

All of them are pretty simply to achieve, outside of the netural and good emperor ending.

For the good endings, stick to "Good" policies such as charitable aid and avoid polices or actions which involve the concept of "evil", "cruel" etc, such as Emergency Tax, replenishing troops, grave robbing etc. You'll want to Promot e Craft, Promote Craft+ etc, things that have a postive effect.

Also avoiding things such as executing captured officers and releasing them to help raise your "Good" rating.

On the flip side, evil is easy, just use those commands you've been avoiding like crazy such as the infamous and wonderful Rob Grave command, once you fall, it's only easier to fall faster.

The netural route, being a no-brainer as well, just try to keep yourself as balanced as possible to ensure you get this one.

So, this pretty much means if you've noticed, you can kiss the use of the delegate command goodbye unless you --really-- know your officers commands, as they might decide to do something against what you want to do, such as robbing a grave for no real reason when you're on the path to light.

Now, also, you might need to keep this up for quite awhile, I forgot just how high you need to get this before it takes effect, but you'll know when you're doing the right things, when you're "Good" you'll notice less bad events happening to your side of things as China feels a nice calm and peasants will bear arms to your cause and fight for you in a fight. While on your path to evil, you'll trigger more of the usual bad events and those same peasants will turn on you in a heartbeat.

So this leaves the final way, Emperor route. This one's the tricky one, as I haven't found what exactly triggers it, but all I can say is. This one takes --time--. Much less time if you're shooting for an evil emperor game, much much much more if you're going for a good emperor game and the game tries to break you along the way.

Anyway, some tips for it first: The first suggestion would be to grab 24 territories [That's all but 1 incase you don't know] and then ally up with the reminder one [They'll never reject it, so it'll give you some hassle-free time to build up needed cash and to make the process easier]

Anyway, this is where you hopefully, if you've been on the right track so far can achieve the rank by using your good or evil polices over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

As said before with the evil, you'll want to draft as much as you can, force the people to work, rob those graves, take what you can, execute who you you might not have already etc, stick to those evil policies and you'll achieve emeperor rank quick enough. Conscript and Depotism are really noteworthy evil commands, and as mentioned, Rob Grave for it's in-game large amounts of gold and free item.

Now for the good rank, what you're gonna want, look for the Phialnthropy and Release commands, those are the high good point scoring commands. [Now you see why I mention the idea of allying with your last rival nation] as well as the other obvious good commands. Along the way, you'll also have to avoid executions, bribing etc. I'd suggest doing each good command around the amounts of say.. 10 times a piece, probably more in the end to make up for points lost for unavoidable events and other problems that may crop up.

Neat trick, if you do, find yourself straying to a path you didn't want, or want to shoot for the netural route. The "Rest" command brings you closer to being netural and then you can work from there to pick your side once again.

That should help you out, lemme know if you need any more help or advice.
