I still wish it were a traditional rpg instead of a slashing rail game. But it looks great.

I agree 100%.
..Well, I gotta say, it does look nice, though it's odd, for once, the main character doesn't look exactly the same as Goku from Dragon Ball Z, or even a young Goku. I'm a bit shocked, impressed yet saddened at the exact same time.
Well, after my personal disappointment with Dragon Quest 8, I'll gladly take something different if they put some effort behind it. But, I guess that's a wait and see part.

Dragon Quest 8 journey of the curse king is better than this and i even cheated on the game and still couldnt beat it!!!

... You cheated and couldnt beat it? Wow... WOW. You really fucking suck. :laugh: I'm sorry but I didn't cheat at all on that game and the only part that gave me trouble were the Dragovian Trials. Those dragons gave me a hellatious fight and I still havent beaten the final form! Im at the final stage where you have to fight every single dragon form back to back which leads up to an ultimate form. And that ultimate form kicked my ass so hard I had no idea what to do.
Sheet, I dont see how you could not beat this game with cheats. Give yourself infinite health and level 99 or something. lol
But I agree, DQ8 was amazing and I absolutely loved it.

acutally i never really played it i got bored and decided to cheat and im at the part were the light and dark world gets mix up togather
