IGTs are nice. But they need to balance that shitty fighting system. Budokai 3 had almost gotten us evolved enough so that the next game would've been a decent fighter standing alongside games like Soul Calibur and whatnot. Then Sparking! came out and the system was just so simplistic and flawed it made me cry.

I agree, Budokai 3 was the best DBZ game in its genre: pure no-brain fighting.

If you prefer to go more technical and simulation-ish, Sparking is a good choice.

I think both games are worth a go but I do enjoy the freedom of movement that Sparking offers (even though the camera indeed has problems at times) and also the vast choice of characters, including some we've never seen in DBZ games.

Yep, Slug as well as our Cyborg movie friends C13-14-15 are confirmed.
Rumor has it we'll also get Tapion, Hildegarn and basically any movie character we haven't had yet :sweat:

Put it this way: I have Budokai Tenkaichi (or Tenkaichi Budokai, whichever), the so-called successor, and I'd give it away in a second to get 3. The ability to dodge, the zanzoken (the trick where you appear behind someone else), more realistic backgrounds, all IGTs for any character that has them (IOW, none of that, Furiza 1st Form transforms immediately into 4th crap), plus kick-ass ultimate moves where you get to destroy the entire battleground. :laugh: Budokai 3 *was* Dragonball Z: The Game.

Personally I'd be much more interested in a Budokai 4 than I am in Sparking 4. The only thing 3 was missing was more characters.
