Dragon Age 2

I have this game pre-ordered. Does anyone else? I tried the demo last night. I was very weary of it based on all the changes that were being talked about. My fears were misplaced. DA2 is going to kick ass. Anyone that liked DAO should download the demo. Flemeth is soooo cool.

dont have it preordered but I played the demo and I'm looking forward to it. Loved the first game. But I hate the way the new DarkSpawn look.

I don't mind it. I am glad they went in a new art direction. Tell me, did you have any problems beating the 2nd ogre in the demo? Kotaku, people on FB, and others are saying it's "to hard", but I have had no issues with it. I did the demo as a mage and a warrior and I had no problems.

Everything in the demo was really easy. I can't see how anyone could die in it. I only played it once as a Rogue though.

It's definitely a huge improvement over Origins (which I thought was boring as hell) but I'll probably wait for a GOTY edition or a cheaper normal edition.

I'm on the fence, really. I found the first game a bit hard to get into, but once the story got rolling I started to have fun with it....but it's Bioware, and I love bioware.

I'm probably gonna wait till either all the DLC come out, or till this game drops under 30$.

I might be getting it for PC this time, if I preorder from Gamestop they cut off 100dkk, that's going from $73 to $55

Blame $1 being 5.40dkk

I played a mage and I didn't have any problems. However, when I tried playing a Melee class, I had a lot harder time. My fiance played a fighter and ended up just 'kiting' (that is, she would call its attention) the ogre around. So while the ogre chased her, the other AI members took it down.

I destroyed as a mage though.

Already have this preo-ordered. Loved the first game and the demo rocked. I love the new dialogue system. I hated that my character did not have a voice except for during battle. And the art direction is fantastic!

The demo is wonderful. Faster, smoother, more exciting combat. The art design is good this time around (DAO was... serviceable at best).

I prefer this sequel so far to the changes in Mass Effect 2.

Just so everyone knows, the press X over and over to attack is an option. I was reading the bioware DA2 forums, and it was confirmed to be ON by default. If you want auto attack, you can turn that option on in the full game. Bioware is giving us so many options with this game.

I also umm. I am kind of freaking out.. .Because I find Flemth... Kinda hot in DA2.... :sly:

Anyway yeah about the Mage. Just like DAO it seems the mage is very OP in DA2. I also didn't have to kite the 2nd ogre with a warrior. I stayed right on him and just didn't let up. While doing that the mage sister was using ice attacks.

And one last thing guys. Make sure you are logged into the Dragon Age servers when you play the DA2 demo. For completing the demo you unlock a special item in the full version

And about DAO. I can understand the dislike of some aspects of it, but while I can understand I just don't care(no offense). DAO was an epic story with epic events. It is one of my all time favorite games.
