..and I enjoyed his VA work as Peter Parker on the ill-fated Mtv Spider-Man series. The scripts may not have been strong but he captured the character.

Him being gay isn't gross. But I am wondering about what they're going to do about the show, as his character is written as a woman hound. Perhaps they'll use it on the show to say that he was just pretending to date all those women to hide the fact and he no longer wants to and starts chasing men around like he did women.

I couldn't believe it. I love that show. This pretty much is prelude to the cancellation of his series.

That's a pretty infantile attitude to take. The fact that he's gay won't lead to the cancellation of his series. If anything, it could potentially draw even MORE attention to it. The only thing that causes a show to be cancelled is low ratings. As long as their shows are doing well and getting lots of viewers, producers don't care if any of their actors are gay or not. For example...

Producer 1 - Hey, Harris came out and said he's gay.
Producer 2 - Really? How are the ratings for the show?
Producer 1 - Still really good.
Producer 2 - Okay then, sounds good.

For one thing, no WE didn't feel like it. There's actually only ONE person in this thread saying "eww" and "gross" about it. To the rest of us it's not that big of a deal.
