Does anyone knows how "perfect dark" works?

This is the only japanese peer to peer I managed to make work up to the point when I find files in the search engine and I put them in download by double clicking them.
The problem is, the download never starts!
What is happening?

Because you need to have 40 gigs of files shared in order to release yourself from your downloading restrictions.

So you need to have 40 gigs of free space on your HD because what PD does is creates copies of them and places them i the cache folder in your PD directory. Your share ratio determines what you can or can not download.

If you're not sharing anything then you're useless to the network and it restricts you.

Thank you very much! I managed to upload some files and got my downloads...Anyway this copies thing is very clumsy...

Okay, I managed to download stuff from perfect dark...now, the problem is that I can't manage to unzip any of the zip files I downloaded...
I guess this is because they are japanese files..
How do you unzip japanese archives?

.... There's no trick to archives because there's no such thing as japanese archives. Its all the same.

Just rename them or osmething. Can't help you there.
