A benefit of fulfilling the duty of shitty chores is that sense of anime like honor and satisfication without complaint.

Oh my God, I am old... because... it does build character! Oh ****, they were right!!! O____O!!!!

NOOOOOO!!!!!! :bawling:

Dude, you're not old. It's called, "that's pretty damn obvious." Trust me, when you live on your own...you will not only have to get used to doing your own shiet, but it's survival. For example, there's nothing that personally ticks me off more than after a LONG day at school, teaching 25 kids, my own stuff, and finding myself starving and there's a pile of dishes in the sink; it happens sometimes I am so busy, I don't even have time to do those...but you know what? Ain't nobody gonna do them, so if I want to eat, I get off my ass and do it.

RSR, after college for a year, I lived at home, and while my parents and I fought EVERY day,but it wasn't until I came out to live on my own to realize how easy I had it. It's a part of that old saying, you wanna be treated like an adult, you gotta act like one. Dirty dishes, or a meal not made for you, and realizing that's why it's part of the "growing up thang" is a the beginning of getting out on your own and living your life. When you're sick...if you have friends to take care of you, you're really one of the rare lucky few. It's why singles living alone have to be healthy and fit, cuz you can't afford to get sick.

And face it, come on, we don't want to live dependent on others for stuff like that...every guy and girl IMO, don't care how old or circumstance, should know how to wash dishes, clean toilets, do laundry, cook rice (in my case), and maybe one dish.

That's it? Please tell me there's something ACTUALLY bad that they did.
I didn't do anything bad in the first place at the time to be banned from watching BnB, she should've just let me have the right to watch whatever the hell I want (especially for someone who has a seriously worse taste in television than me).

And now that I've mentioned Beavis n Butthead, I now wish that I didn't because now that I did this thread is slowly starting to go off topic and stupid unlike the intelligent manlike conversation it was when it began, and the level of asking Keith for about the 3rd time (I think it was the 3rd time, or so, I dunno) to have a thread locked increasing slightly by about 1%.

Why not get a full time job then?
We're still searching for one. And it's really really hard, infact, it's easier said than done. I go to this Jobcenter every 2 weeks to sign on and I look in these little Jobserching computers and I never find a single descent job there. All I find is Cleaner, Cleaner, Cleaner, some many Jobs of which I don't have the skills for.. *SIGH* I dunno. Plus the job that I'm doing 1ce a week is just like a Work Experiance job, meaning I don't get paid for it. The monney I do get is from the Government through a bank, I dunno, only my parents know how all this stuffs works.

Dude, that's not a "never forgiving" problem. That's maybe a "mad for a week." Problem. "I'll never forgive them" falls under them actually doing something bad to you. From what you've said so far, it actually sounds like your parents take damn good care of you. Instead of complaining on here, maybe you should just clean the dishes.

What type of job are you looking for then? You'll find that if you need the money, a job is a job, no matter how hard it is. You'll have to force yourself to learn the skills that you need to know. Instead of going to that job center, try going to actual places. Applying in person usually helps a lot when you want a job. Your parents might even pay for the transportation if you tell them it's to help you find a job.

Also, it sounds like you're not all that on top of your affairs. How old are you if you don't mind me asking? At a certain age, you gotta take care of your own paperwork and stuff like that. You have to know your own records out of convenience and necessity.

You're starting to sound like that guy who posted that "TV Nihons Hostility to Child Friendly Subs" thread.. (no offense like).

It's still not good for a parent to not let a kid watch a TV Show. And I have no idea what you mean by "taking care of me", I mean, It's not like Beavis n Butthead are like gonna walk out of the TV Set and fire lasers at me. I think parents should just appreciate the fact that their children are different to them and have different opinions and tastes in television. They should just let it go.

AAAAAANYWAY, I'm willing to let this last as a grown up manly conversation, but if Beavis n Butthead, AND the "don't live in Japan" junk suddenly out of nowhere start taking over this thread could Keith or someone else please lock this thread (the level has increased abit).

1) It's not your tv. It's your parents. They own the tv, they paid the tv tax, they pay for cable, they pay for the electricity. Unless the bills are in your name and you bought the tv then you really have no say. I tell my kids the same thing when they complain they can't watch certain shows and my kids are all under the age of 12 and you sound exactly like them with that complaint.

2) If you can't find a job in England, where you live, what makes you think that moving to Japan is going to make job hunting more easy? I had this same discussion with another person who wants to move to Japan and become a Japanese citizen despite not knowing the language, the culture and doesn't have family or friends there. He is under the impression that he can move there easily and find a place to live and a job right away. Just because people can move to the US and find a job pretty easy (low paying but it's a job) doesn't mean you can move to Japan and do the same.

As others have said, it's EXPENSIVE to live in Japan (like Tokyo) and EXPENSIVE to move. Hell, we're still planning to move cross-country to be near my husband's family and the move alone - and this doesn't factor in buying a house there (which costs twice as much as it does here) - will cost us over $15,000. That's MOVING expenses alone. Even if you just take the basics (clothes, personal items, a computer) it's still going to be expensive to ship your things overseas. You'll probably need 8,553.62 GBP ($15K) to move to another country if not more.

My suggestion, get an education. I don't know how universities work in England but here in the US, depending on the program you're in, you can end up living in a foreign country to study. That's the most inexpensive way to move to another country (since they typically provide housing and furnishings) but it's still pretty expensive and difficult.

I don't know, but at my work experiance I'm basically working in a warehouse stacking shelves and clearing up rubbish and putting them in recycling bins. I might if I'm lucky end up with this job (if I can't seem to find anything else).

Instead of going to that job center, try going to actual places. Applying in person usually helps a lot when you want a job. Your parents might even pay for the transportation if you tell them it's to help you find a job.
Coz.. this JobCenter seems to be the only place I can find. I might try somewhere else though..

I didn't want to actually go to Japan to get a job, I want to go to Japan for more personal reasons. I have to get a job before I go to Japan and to get a job I have to.. eh,, do all these things I have to do. Jobcenter, Work Experiance and all those other things that may suddenly pop infront of me when I least expect them to.

And speaking os which I have to go to work tomorrow morning, and it's.. (oh crap) 49 past Midnight. Well, gotta go!! Oyasumi Nasai minna san!!

Just so you know. You can't move to Japan unless you have a job lined up in Japan first. You'll need to get a work permit first before being able to move. It's very difficult to move there if you haven't done the research and it sounds as if you haven't. Ask the resident forums members who moved to Japan to work or study and I'm sure they'll tell you the same thing - you can't just move there.

You people write too much.

Only thing I have to add is to give some good advice to the guy and make sure you're not taking this as an oppurtunity to roast.
