I do watch scheduled television, but only my two favourite programmes. Of course, I could record them but if I didn't break off from my online activites to watch them, I'd probably never leave the computer at all.
Ever since I went to uni I haven't been watching tv at all and the only time I actually watch it when I go back home. But even then, I've stopped watching it quite a bit since there's basically EVERYTHING online. But sometimes when I'm in the mood I watch music channels or HBO but that's pretty much it.
When someone turns it on in front of me, sure. Also, it helps me practice my German (the language TV is in here), so even when it's boring, it does not feel like a waste of time.
I really prefer to turn to my computer for entertainment, though.
It is not often that I will watch TV shows on the actual television, I mostly watch it all online. I only use my actual TV for award shows, sports and the news.
I still do, if there's anything good to watch, or if I'm done browsing the internet and has nothing left to do. A lot of shows on television don't really appeal to me nowadays, and I'm not as interested in cartoons as I was before.
