Do you ever think... Time just goes by to fast?

Two years ago I lost my Grandmother. She was my hero. I know that sounds sappy, but when I was growing up she was the one I felt safe around. I had a less than "nice" step father, and my grandmother helped me escape him. I just can't seem to get over that she has been gone for two years.

Anyway I can't believe it's been two years. It feels like last week. I also can't believe it's been 19 years since I started working. It doesn't seem like the time was even there. Things come and go so fast now, it makes me wonder how much time I even have left on this world. Things just keep moving so fast. Does anyone else think about things like this?

Occasionally. A little tip, though: The longer you spend doing that, the faster time passes. Better to enjoy what you have, both for yourself and to honor your grandmother.

Sidenote: Heroes come in all shapes, sizes, and ages. Nothing sappy about it.

Most of the time I do like you say and think about what I have now, but her Birthday would be coming up soon. Makes me remember things.

Although I try not to, I do catch myself thinking about things like that from time to time. Like yesterday, my uncle randomly asked me how old I was. After I answered 25, I paused a second because it just didn't sound right coming out of my mouth. I don't feel like I should be this age yet. I mean, where the hell did the rest of those years go?

My grandma died when I was six, but I still find myself missing her every now and then. I was quite close to both of my grandparents when I was growing up. So I still wonder sometimes what she would think of me now and the choices I've made. Whether I'd disappoint her in some ways. Stuff like that.

I thank God my grandpa is still here. I know nobody can live forever, but I wish he could.

Well, I had this memorable trip to my homeland of the Philippines back in 2007 but I still remember everything as it I had just gotten back but then I remember it was just a span of three years and a lot has happened since then(much I don't even remember except my grandmother's death of the same year). But it was so wonderful to be back after 7 years so I pretty much took everything in during the month I was there. I'd love to be go there again for vacation.

Time passes by insanely fast. Especially when I grew up and had to work and had bills to pay, suddenly months became weeks and years were just months.

I was thinking about this the other day. My cousin, who was like a younger brother to me, passed away 4 years ago. It just feel surreal when I think about it and all the 'what ifs.' I'm 23, and it seems like time is slipping away and I'm going to be left behind.

Time is a Constant, only your perception of it can make it seem otherwise.

The more active your brain is, the less it keep's track of what time it is. So if you think about or do something complex, time can seem to pass quickly, when it's your brain failing to record every moment due to increased use.

As we get older, our lives clutter with various things (work, school, relationships) than messes with the brain's time recording, where as when we where younger we had to deal with less complex issues so time seemed more plentiful when really it wasn't.

Time does go by fast....it seemed like yesterday when I was that scared child that climbed his first tree with one of his best friends :disappoin
